Edmond Law was founded by Nicholas and Tamica Edmond with a clear-eyed purpose: to build a law firm that Jamaicans could actually access, one that answered the phone, spoke plainly, and stayed in their corner through every turn of their matter.
Portmore was the obvious home. A growing, vibrant community that had long been underserved by legal practitioners willing to invest in it. From our offices in Big Buy Plaza, we have assisted hundreds of Jamaican families and businesses navigate some of the most consequential moments of their lives: the purchase of a first home, the grief of settling a parent's estate, and the resolve required to stand in a courtroom and fight for what is right.
We have grown deliberately. Each attorney we have added to the firm, including Michelle Daley, was chosen not merely for their technical competence but for their character. We believe clients can feel the difference between an attorney who is merely qualified and one who genuinely cares. Our clients deserve the latter, and that is what we hire.
